My favourite thing about Toronto is the abundance of unique neighbourhoods. I personally love the neighbourhoods where you can almost forget that you are in a big city. Areas like the Beaches and Rosedale really don’t feel only 10 – 25 mins away from the downtown core. As Torontonians, we have the luxury of choosing whether we want to live in the heart of downtown, or on a peaceful, tree-lined street mere moments from the core. We have the Beltline, Hogg’s Hollow Ravine, and beautiful golf courses in some backyards, while other properties have Miami style views of the water or New York style views of the city. This is the part of Toronto that I love the most and what makes me so passionate about real estate in this city – there really is something for everyone. Everyone is unique, as are their needs and desires, and I love to help match someone with the property & the neighbourhood that is best for them.
When I’m not helping clients, I’m usually out enjoying all of the sights and sounds of the city. Whether it’s grabbing brunch with friends, shopping, or watching a movie at the TIFF theatre with my parents, I’m always in awe of how much there is to do. You can always find me in a pool, on a golf course, at a café, or taking a walk downtown (and maybe at Sephora if there’s time.)
It wouldn’t be right to discuss the city without mentioning some of the incredible restaurants it has. For the vibe alone, Pai, Piano Piano and Copacabana are at the top of my list. For specialty dishes, Panthenon on the Danforth, Sushi Inn in Yorkville, Pizzeria Libretto on University Ave., and Little India on Queen St. W are all some of my favourites. If you’re ever looking for great barbecue, Carbon Bar on Queen St. E is the place to go. The restaurant scene is always changing, and new ones open up so often that my favourites list is forever changing.
Between the food, events, schools, job opportunities, etc., are many reasons to love Toronto – not to mention its diversity & inclusivity. If you’re already here, you know what I’m talking about, and if you aren’t here but plan on making it your home, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for taking a moment to see the city through my eyes, and if you’re ever looking to buy or sell a property in Toronto you can always give me call.
