DISCOVER TORONTO

Liberty Village

Heady with Gen Z and millennial energy, Liberty Village has a youthful, campus-meets-condo vibe. Bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes buzz with energy, especially on game nights when one of the local teams (Toronto Wolfpack and Toronto FC) take to the pitch. Liberty Village also functions as one of the city’s creative corridors with production facilities, agencies and tech firms operating out of lofts and studio spaces in converted former warehouses. The area is within walking distance of the waterfront as well as the trendy King & Queen Street West shops, restaurants and nightlife venues. Within the district, there is quick access to fitness centres, hair salons, banks and grocery stores as well as several art galleries and local pubs where residents mingle.

Housing is mostly a mixture of modern townhomes and high-rise condos with all your standard amenities like pools, gyms and security. Liberty Village is the city’s tech hub, playing home to the headquarters for dozens of media companies. Summers are filled with visitors who frequent local patios after attending the annual Canadian National Exhibition and BMO Field right around the corner, but you can bet there are plenty of activities and attractions all year round.
